Update From Administrator – June 1, 2020

June 1, 2020

Dear Family and Residents

Thank you all for your continued patience and kindness as we go through this crisis. We are happy to announce that visitation for residents have resumed as of 6/3/2020, but with some simple guidelines that must be followed.  Each family member who wants to visit their loved one must make an appointment.  This appointment will last for up to 30 minutes long.  Failure to follow those guidelines outlined by the Department of Public Health (DPH) may result is your visitation privilege being revoked.

Based on our continued testing of residents we had 134 residents in our facility that were affected with the virus and 127 residents have recovered and are doing well.  We suffered seven residents death as a result of the virus.  The management and staff of Parsons Hill wants to send their condolences and love to all families that were affected.  There were approximately 40 residents that never contracted the virus, many had now been discharged and are home with their loved ones.

As we progress, the health and safety of our residents and staff remain our highest priority, so we will continue to take proper precautions set forth by CDC and DPH to ensure that all residents remain safe.  We also continue to maintain strict infection control protocol such as hand washing, sanitizing of high traffic areas, and constant cleaning of the facility with the use of proper PPE.  We will continue to work as a team to ensure that all residents are treated with the utmost respect and dignity.

Thank you again for your patience and if there are any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call me at 508-791-4200.

Yours Sincerely
